Training course: “ICT in education”
Course provider: ITC International Training Center, Prague, Czech Republic
Participants: 6 teachers
Results/impact: Participants practiced IT skills that they will use in the teaching-learning and assessment process. By using applications and online tools, teachers will create lessons and activities that are personalized, tailored to the understanding level and learning pace of each student.
Flow 2.
Period: 13-16.05.2024
Partner: Plato School m.e.p.e from Katerini, Greece
Participants: 10 students from the 10th and 11th grades, specializing in Social Sciences, accompanied by two teaching staff
Learning activities (classes and workshops) about multilingualism, social skills, Greek mythology, interculturality, environment, inclusion, and diversity
Cultural program: discovering the heritage of the host country: trip to Mount Olympus, visit to Katerini and Thessaloniki, excursion to the Meteora complex
Results/impact:
- They practiced and improved: language skills, especially in English, critical thinking, creativity, problem-solving, decision-making, teamwork, communication and collaboration, as well as skills necessary for a greener and more sustainable economy and society.
- They practiced values and attitudes such as respect for human dignity and for Human Rights, openness to cultural differences, civic spirit, tolerance and understanding, acceptance of differences in opinions, values and beliefs, positive attitude towards people belonging to different cultures and valuing cultural differences
- They enriched their knowledge about the history, culture, and civilization of Greece

Period: May 20-23, 2024

Participants: 10 students from the 6th and 7th grades, accompanied by two teaching staff
Learning activities (classes and workshops) about STEM Skills, multilingualism, interculturality, and social sciences (empathy and solidarity, Greek and Romanian traditions, music and traditional dances), Greek mythology, circular economy, and sustainable development
Cultural program - discovering the heritage of the host country (excursion to Mount Olympus, visit to Katerini and Thessaloniki, trip to the Meteora complex)
Results/impact:
- They practiced and improved: skills in the STEM field, language competencies, especially English, transversal skills such as critical thinking, creativity, problem-solving, decision-making, teamwork and interconnectivity, communication, and collaboration
- They practiced values and attitudes such as respect for human dignity and for Human Rights, openness to cultural differences, cultural empathy, civic spirit, tolerance and understanding, acceptance of differences in opinions, values and beliefs, a positive attitude towards individuals belonging to different cultures, and valuing cultural differences
- They enriched their knowledge about the history, culture, and civilization of Greece
