Grant: 72,904 Euros

Target group: 25 students and one teaching staff

Flow 1.

Mobility period: October 28 - November 1, 2024

Participants: one teaching staff in the VET field

Type of activity: Job shadowing

Partner:  ISTITUTO SUPERIORE "G.GALILEI", Avezzano, Italy

Results/impact:

The activities were carried out based on the training agreement agreed upon with the host school. Prof. Bonea Elena Cristina observed the way the teaching staff organizes their activities, the teaching strategies used in the specialized classes, and the methods for the ongoing training and professional development of the teachers at the Galileo Galilei-Bellisario Institute. She participated in meetings with the teaching staff during which the Italian and Romanian educational systems were analyzed/compared, specialized school curricula were discussed, and good practices were exchanged, which favored mutual learning and strengthened professional relationships and intercultural educational exchange.

At the end of the 5 days of activity, Mrs. Professor Cristina Bonea provided and received feedback from the mentor and from the teaching staff who teach economic disciplines and with whom she interacted during this time. “The entire job shadowing internship at the Galileo Galilei-Bellisario Institute was an extraordinarily rich experience both in terms of collaboration with Italian professor colleagues, who proved to be kind and eager to share their own experiences, as well as information regarding the organization and conduct of the educational process in this Institute.”

The skills developed during the internship period are mentioned in the Europass Mobility Certificate issued by the host school.
